My natural lifestyle (napping, binging, purging, watching Al Pacino in Dog Day Afternoon, chatting with my imaginary dog) is completely in adapted to this time of the year. I actually pretty much hate Spring (one could easily argue that I hve been saying that about all seasons but what would be the point?) because, among other things, thousands of gay jeeps appear on 17th street, there is allergens in the air and therefore I get puffy eyes, I have nothing to wear, Spring is for slim people (while I feel ravenous for carbohydrates as usual) and trout fishing, there is more crimes against gay people in Spring, LL is more likely to be unfaithful in Spring, I receive more hate mail in Spring and you are expected to get a healthy preppy tan asap. That’s why out of guilt, I took the Gs and Kevin D. on a road trip (in a mini convertible as if we looked too masculine or something) to Alexandria yesterday which included a repulsive meal at Freddie’s beach bar, many jokes on my mastery of English and a stop at Trader’s Joe and went a one hour long jogg through Arlington this Sunday.
On a last note, the picture of Olliver that LL posted yesterday gave me nightmares, the coverboy of the week is not only scary but he wrote that Tintin was a young Englishman and I am not sure what’s more stressful having to throw a diner on Wednesday or getting ready for spending almost a week in Cyprus with my father’s family in less than two weeks.
Meanwhile, today I visited a real puppy (Bug) and cruised Christopher Street pier for about 30 minutes without any success at all.
