There is something strange about feeling under the weather when you travel to “unusual destinations” as you always wonder if you are just exhausted of if it is your body telling you that you might not wake up the following morning because you caught Ebola after being a bit too close to some velvet monkeys or your usual cerebral malaria. On the other hand, it is such a nice excuse to avoid watching the football games with your traveling companions who just don’t get the many clues on your sexual orientation such as the fact that your bag is twice as big than everyone else, that you declared disliking local toilets because they are just a hole in the ground, that you complained that your hotel did not have a gym and that you wear oversized aviator Ray Bans at all times. In any case I just popped some Loperamide for kicks and will go to bed early tonight.
In other news all is well in D.C., LL (a.k.a my-boyfriend-is-dying-but-let’s-the-good-times-rollin) has been “wandering aimlessly” (sic) by the Diner yesterday (sick) and spent the evening with Vadim, Mark H, Carlos, Ben T, Chord, Alex and Thomas, etc. An impressive list if I know anything about DC A list. Talkin g about Thomas B. don’t forget to cast your vote on wonkette because James C. Langdon III looks like a tool.
Either the crowd at the Diner has gotten younger, or I've aged enough to catch up.

Actually, FHC, i'm no A Lister. Nor, for that matter, am i an A+ Lister -- still less an MNDCer, having only been invited to one of the latter group's gatherings. :(
I'm thinking about trying to join the Monday Morning Drinking Club. Do you think they'll have me? In the meantime, I still get occasional invitations to Celebrity Homosexual events, which are always fun even if they often seem to be scheduled at times of the day during which it is widely known I will unavailabe. Hmm....
I've also come across this other group with which i seem to have an especially deep connection. They're called the Big D List. I'm not really sure what the D stands for, but I hear it isn't Dallas.
