First let me apologize to LL for borrowing his column without his permission: I just made it to Heathrow Terminal 4 and am slightly bored. I rushed to the lounge (full of older single men: that’s what the business world is made of unfortunately) as soon as we landed to avoid running into any unsolicited Brits as well as any mention of the World Cup (the bloody thing hasn’t yet started and I am already sick of it). I wish too that I was a little more adventurous and curious about foreign culture but I am not. Anyway the place is dangerous; I heard there are anti-police demonstrations in London today while a dirty bomb is on the run. Shopping in the Terminal seemed awesome but as LL once pointed out the last thing I need is another British shirt and another blow to my already shaky Bank Account. I am in perfect shape thanks in part to Kevin W.’s generous contribution of four ambien pills (three are left for the rest of my overseas adventures) as well as BA option to gulp your dinner before boarding. As I could not secure a massage at the Molton Brown Spa (nor a shower…so much for that bloody advertising about M. Hayes… I use the word “bloody” a lot today to sound British), I have been reading about the dangers of hooking up online in Washington, DC in the Blade: not only is my boyfriend slutting around but I am probably going to get robbed of my Tod’s.
Ok you are all very cute but I now have another 8:35 hrs flight to take before I am well on my way to the unnamed destination so I have to leave you. This trip started in an awful fashion: my computer being all dysfunctional and it poured rain on me while I was leaving yesterday but I am full of hope for the future.
For those of you that managed to secure an invitation at Kevin D.’s pre-pride party tonight: congratulations. To the others, keep up the good work. I also suggest you visit Fagat to get some lessons on what cool is about and how to behave in high school.
a) It is my day to blog
b) My bed is very empty, even though when he's here FHC doesn't take up much space.
