As I am some kind of a second class blogger and each time I try to be original there is some f**er to tell me that my entry is “sad” (f***ing wimpy readership), I’ll just share with you my draft New Year’s 10 resolution list for 2007 (a list to a blogger is what a handjob is to a hooker). Don’t hesitate to bring corrections or amend it as I’d like to be as much of an interactive process as possible given how unsuccessful we were in implementing together my 2006 New Year’s resolution:
- I’ll stop drinking coffee and diet sodas and will switch to decaffeinated tea and plain water. Additionally I won’t drink alcohol at home by myself or at least only during the week-ends;
- I’ll buy less antique sports memorabilia and more Waldorf Astoria silverware as well as a coffee table and a new pair of jeans;
- I’ll sleep with more people more often, including at least two threesomes, and watch less ethnic pornography;
- I’ll do the yoga thing and perhaps even the mindful meditation or whatever that’s called;
- I’ll make two female friends and won’t talk down to them;
- I’ll eat more broccoli and less rollmops;
- I’ll more homophobic and less hypocritical or vice-versa;
- I won’t crash any boat in National Airport nor will I ever wake up in a poodle of vomit ever again;
- I’ll volunteer more with Greenpeace and less with the Red Cross;’
- I’ll celebrate Rosh Hashanah and do the apple thingy.
Ok this clearly needs a little refining particularly towards the end but I am amazed by the good intentions I have.
Rollmops? Oh, darling... Those are just vile (at least anywhere outside of an Ikea store)

As for resolution number 9, I'll refer back to the comment I posted on Wednesday, December 27, 2006 at 03:29 PM.

Benj what do you have against rollmops? I thought all french liked them - was that a faux pas for me to bring as a gift to FHC's grand-mere?

The confluence of items in #3 makes us very suspicious...
And FYI, green tea has caffeine but lots of antioxidents. Not only is it great for your skin, but it speeds up your metabolism!
